Happy Friday All!
Guess what? I redeemed myself today. Ahhhh...I'm so proud.
I have done everything on my list.
SUCCESS! How sweet it is.
I freakin' LOVE being proud of myself. It's just the best feeling in the world, isn't it? I know I can hear a couple of you already thinking...um...NOT...sex is the best. Okay so maybe you're right. Sex first, then being proud of yourself. I think that's fair now, don't you?
I had a great day of gratitude, thinking about my accountabilibuddies. I've never had them before and I just have to say that I love it. It makes all the difference. Well, that and all the other stuff I'm doing to be successful. It's just awesome.
I had a great day for food too.
Breakfast - oatmeal, non fat milk, coffee, raisins, dried apricots
Lunch - curried cous cous with mixed veggies, mushrooms, and shrimp
Snack - apple and walnuts
Dinner - tilapia and brussel sprouts...oh, and a shot of limoncello while cooking my dinner :)
All that food and only 1,000 calories. I still have to eat a bit more before the day's over so I can get my full calorie intake. I'll let my dinner settle a bit and maybe have some popcorn and chocolate milk. That should do it since I'm low on carbs and fat.
I totally drank all my water today. It was really easy today for some reason. I just couldn't suck enough down. Even now, I'm freakin' thirsty. I think I'll go down another glass.
I kicked some serious ass at the gym too. Cardio, weights, pool, sauna. I've been sitting in the sauna at the gym for a few minutes to get some quiet time in my head lately. I have to say, I'm totally loving it. It feels so good to get out of the pool, head to the sauna for 15-20 mins, then shower and hit the road. It's like a cherry on top of my workout sundae.
K, I'm off to play my guitar for a bit.
