I was not feeling up to much last night so the update had to come this morning.
1. Blog. Better late than never.
2. Burn 400 calories. Nope, not unless a heating pad and Aleve burn calories. Well, I did pull weeds in my garden from about 4-6pm last night. Does that count? I wasn't wearing my heart rate monitor though so it's not going into my tracking.
3. Yoga. NO. I skipped it. :( I wanted to go sooooo bad. I was dressed and ready to go. Then the worst case of cramps hit me and I ended up in my comfy chair in fetal position.
4. Water. I drank water but not enough. Probably 30oz again. :(
5. Meals. Yes.
6. Meditate. Yes.
7. Guitar. No. I was such a slacker yesterday.
8. Read. Yes. I finally got my new book. Shrink Yourself. AWESOME! All about why we emtionally eat and how to stop it. It was written by a therapist. I read a couple chapters last night and seriously, I feel like the book was written just for me. How sad is that. :)
9. Thank you. Yes...every morning.
10. Vitamins. Yup.
11. Tracking. Absolutely. Even without going to the gym or yoga, I still had a deficit of 333 calories yesterday. AND my total deficit for the week is 3300 calories. You know what that means right? It means that I still have Friday and Saturday to burn more calories so I should be aiming for about 1.5 pounds lost this week. Looking forward to weight in day on Sunday. :)
I have to say that I was really bummed out about not going to yoga last night. I was soooo excited for it. I was looking forward to it all day. I was prepared to just go anyway and suffer through the class.
I was feeling guilty when I decided that I just couldn't even get up and walk in a upright position. But then, I thought about my week so far and I have to say that I'm damn proud of myself this week. I've done just about everything on my list of action items for success pretty consistently. I slacked on my guitar yesterday and need to drink more water but seriously...that's it. Last week I did the same stuff and somehow managed to lose 5lbs. I definitely don't want to lose another 5 this week but if I can get those kinds of results with my actions, and if I can keep it up, I might just make this thing happen.
Sometimes, I think I need to relax a little and get away from all the numbers based goals and lists and stuff. I am a serious nerd when it comes to numbers though. Math was always my favorite subject in school along with creative writing. I have a business degree in guess what...Finance. And just about every job I've ever had was working with numbers and money. Bank teller, bank manager, cash counter for a major university's cash room, financial planner, financial analyst...you get the idea. So, I love numbers. But, perhaps I need to take a moment here and there to appreciate other things.
How about a non numbers related woohoo moment?
I had one yesterday. I was puting my belt on when getting ready for work. Last year, I was wearing it on the first hole. For the past few months, I've had it on the second hole. But yesterday...guess what...I wore it on the third hole all day and it was very comfortable. WooHoo! Damn...there were still numbers in there weren't there? I tried. :)

Okay all...that's it for me. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

That picture cracks me up... I think because it's so random. I wish I understood what it was. :)
I've been a slacker on the comments lately, but I have been reading and I agree, you've been doing awesome. As far as the numbers, I say go for what works for you. If that's what motivates and inspires you to do well, then do it and don't be ashamed! Of course, appreciating the non-numbers goals are great, too.
Either way, I'm glad you're rockin' it. I can't bring myself to consistently stick to daily goals (I don't know why, I've just never been good at it for long), but seeing you consistently mark off all or most of your list each day is a source of constant inspiration.
It seems like everyone is not feeling 100% lately. Even though your not feeling great, you still manage to accomplish some of your goals. Good for you! Hope your feeling better soon. Oh and congrats on the getting to another loop on your belt!
