The Daily Plan for Dummies

Oh relax! I'm not calling you a dummy. Me! I'm the dummy.

Yesterday, I decided that I needed to get back to the basics again because somewhere along the way I lost my way. I've been staying very active and counting every calorie religiously but the scale just hasn't moved. I opened my blog and saw my list over there on the right side "Actions Items for Success". I mean, how much more obvious can it be? I even titled it so I wouldn't forget what to do. But did I pay attention? Of course not.

I might have been staying busy with exercise and counting my calories but I've slacked on some of the fundamental things on that list. We all know how much I've been blogging lately and it hasn't been daily. I drink only enough water to get me through the day but have been more ready to suck down the coffee than ever before (which has the opposite effect). I haven't even considered meditating in months. The guitar practice is a distant memory and not such a proud topic for me at the moment. "Thank You" has not been something in my mind or on my lips lately. Vitamins? What vitamins?

I guess I wouldn't give myself a hard F because I did manage to keep up with 4 of the 10 action items for success. Is there a such thing as a soft F? Well, there is now. I grade myself with a soft F. But, that doesn't mean that I have to stay in that GPA. Ok, so I screwed up on the most obvious thing ever. So what! Now I see it, time to fix it.

Well, here is how I did on my plan so far.



I was a little shy on the water and the sleep and the calories in but at least they're all better than they were before. I lay down last night after reading my book to meditate before falling asleep and I think I skipped it because I just remember waking up this morning and thinking "damn it, I forgot to meditate". Oh well. Better today.
