Perfect 10 Challenge Week 6 Update

Hello All.

I know, I know. I haven't been present this week. I haven't been reading any blogs. I haven't been commenting anywhere. And I haven't been writing any blogs. I'm a naughty little blogger. Perhaps I should be punished. Naaa. Well, I do have a perfectly good excuse for being MIA. I've had an ocular migraine for 18 days. I'm actually feeling a lot better today which is why I'm writing again. I was trying my hardest to avoid computer screens and well all types of light for the past few days as I've been extremely light sensative.

How about we just skip all the idle chit chat and get down to business, huh?

Here are my goals for the Perfect 10 Challenge

  1. ACSM - As you can see from the counter on the sidebar, I'm only 30 days away from test day. Biting my nails, sweating profusely, head in the sand kinda feeling here. Not to worry, I have a plan. Of course I do. Don't I always have a plan. When did they ever do me any good in the past? Okay, so perhaps I should actively follow the plan then...hmmm.
  2. House - Nope. But I'm puting it in my calendar so I can get it done.
  3. 8 of 10 Action Items - Almost. Actually, not really. Definitely didn't blog daily. I did however burn my calories. Water is still a struggle for me. Meals are happening as planned. Mediating...sometimes...kinda. Guitar, um...not so much. Reading: Definitely!. Thank Yous are pretty good. Vitamins have been slacking a bit. Tracking progress regular of course. So I would give myself 6 out of 10. That's not horrible but could definitely improve.
  4. 5K - I'm pretty sure this one is going to get scratched off my list. I've blogged about the damn shin splint and I've gotten the same advice a couple times (which I so much appreciate by the way). The problem is that I'm just not willing to go spend a grip of money on a decent pair of running shoes for a 5k to hopefully take care of the shin splint thing, especially when I'm just not much of a runner anyway. Perhaps I'll change my mind later and decide to do that but for right now, it's just not that important to me.
  5. 1lb - Well, last week I did. I lost 1.2 lbs actually. And I measured myself with some noticeable difference. Weigh in is on Sunday again so we shall see if I can make it a successfull two weeks in a row. Cross your fingers.
  6. 4Week challenge - done
  7. Ski - eliminated
  8. Nephew - Well, I've done just about all I can do I think. Okay not all but as much as I'm willing to do. I tried to call my brother and left a voice mail. Not sure if it was the right number though. Then I called my grandparents to get his number and haven't heard back. We shall see.
  9. Pasta - done
  10. Yard - Not yet. I'm puting it on my calendar to get done though.
A little something about me...

I'm left handed. That's it. That's all you get. Okay....fine. More. I'm left hand dominant but can do and do do lots of things with both hands. I said do do. Hehehe. When I was just a little peanut and my mama was feeding me and trying to teach me to use utensils, she put the fork in my right hand and I'd fling food and throw the fork. Then she'd have to clean up my mess and put the fork back in my right hand only to have a repeat of my little outburst. Eventually, she gave up and just put the fork on my little high-chair tray table and she saw me pick it up with my left hand. From then on, she'd put it in my left hand and no food was flung. Watch and learn. Funny thing is, my personality hasn't really changed much from that. I still throw little tantrums when I don't get my way. Naaa...just kidding. I'm not opposed to flinging a little food now and then though.

Oh and guess what....this is my 100th post. Don't get too excited though, I'm not handing out any freebies like some other people do.
