Yesterday was my husband's birthday.
His favorite cake is a coca cola cake so I made him some coca cola cupcakes. He only got to keep a couple at home and we took the rest to work for a free-for-all. I made 24 chocolately chocolate cupcakes and frosting from scratch and didn't eat any of them. NOT EVEN ONE!
He insisted on going out for lunch to Denny's. Why, I still don't entirely understand but whatever, it was his birthday so we we went to Denny's. He had a grand slam breakfast because they give those for free when it's your birthday and I ordered a dinner salad with no dressing and an iced tea then at my lunch that I brought to work with me after. Chicken, brown rice, and broccoli. Yay for me.
Then after working out really hard at the gym, an hour of racquetball then weight lifting. He decided he wanted to go out to dinner. Not just anywhere, noooooo. He wanted to go to Wingdome. The home of beer and hotwings. Definitely not a calorie conscious kinda place. I had 5 wings and a salad with italian dressing on the side and icewater. Total calorie intake for dinner = 478. Do you know how amazing that is? Amazing!
After we got home from dinner, I entered my calories into my software and realized that I was under for the day. Originally, I had planned to have a cupcake if I had enough room in my calories. And oh to my suprise, I was under. But did I have one? NOPE! Instead, I had a banana and some milk.
I was just so proud of myself. I had to brag.
