Weigh in Day #41 - Whatever

Not a good day on the scale or for any other reason that I can recall.

I spent all week in pain and unable to move my left arm. After going to see the doctor, I learned that it is shoulder bursitis. He prescribed an xray, cortisone, prednisone, vicodin, and physical therapy. I only listened to one of his recommendations. Prednisone. Then I went straight to the acupuncturist that my friend recommended. I've also been putting something called Traumeel on it. Not sure if it's working or if it's just the Prednisone but something is starting to feel better. Another acupuncture appointment this weekend then if that's not enough, I'll hit the physical therapy.

What does that have anything to do with the weigh in?

I got a little upset. I just started roller derby boot camp and the next day couldn't move my left arm at all. So, bye bye roller derby boot camp. Damn it! I was waiting for it and so excited to participate in it, oh how quickly life disagrees with my plans. Because of all this mess, I wasn't able to do really any kind of exercise all last week. And although I wasn't acting like a pig or anything, I wasn't exactly making the healthiest food choices.

  No exercise.
  Shoulder injury.
  Prednisone.
  Period Time.
  Crappy Food.
+ No Sleep.
= A really ugly number on the scale.

Last week: 159
This week: 162.6

I call BS! No way! Not possible!
I might have had some french fries but not 12,600 calories worth, that's for damn sure.
Stupid scale!
